Founder of Sikh Religion , Guru Nanak Sahib Ji who taught devotion and service, religious tolerance - "there is only one Creator" and equality of all people. Guru Nanak Sahib ji expressed eloquently the relevation he received:

"There is but One god, His name is Truth,He is the Creator,He fears none,He is without hate, He never dies , He is beyond the cycle of Birth and Death , He is self illuminated, He is realized by Kindness of the true Guru. He was true in the beginning. He was true when the ages commenced and has ever been true, He is also true now."

Birth anniversary of such a Guru, Sahib Guru Nanak Patshah will be celebrated on 16 Nov (Sunday) at Gurdwara Sahib. We humbly request you to kindly be with us on this holy and happy day and let us have an honour to be your host. Your presence will certainly enrich the congregation. The spritual music (Keertan) shall start at 11:30 and program will complete at 13:30 (afterward Guru ka Langar will be served).

In October 2008 ,Sikhs will be celeberating trecentenary(1708-2008)  of the Eternal Guruship  of Sri Guru Granth Sahib  Ji (the holy Scriptures of the  Sikh religion).Dedicated to this mega event Sikhs of Switzerland are celeberating the same on Sunday,19.10.2008, from 11.30 to 13.30 at GurdwaraSahib Switzerland(Sikh Center)Dennliwe 31 a, 4900Langenthal.Scholars and leaders of all religions are also participating in this program,
which will enrich the congregation and help in establishing mutual understanding consideration respect and love for each other.

On August 8 every year, the sikhs remember the sacrifice made by thousands of their brethrens in respect of Guru ka Bagh Gurdwaras

On 5 August this year, the Sikh community commemorate the "Barsi" (Death Anniversary)
of late Bhagat Puran Singh (1904 - 1992).

Children Gurmat Camp Will be organised from 13 July until 20 July , (2008)all parents are requested to bring there children to Gurdwara Sahib to attend Gurmat Camp.
